Genesis supports Photo50 at London Art Fair in 2016.

Genesis are delighted to be supporting Photo50 at London Art Fair; a guest-curated exhibition of photography featuring fifty contemporary works. The forthcoming exhibition (titled ‘Feminine Masculine’) will be located within London Art Fair, at the Business Design Centre in Islington in January 2016, and provides a critical showcase of some of the most interesting and distinctive elements of current photographic practice.

The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize shortlist has been announced for 2015, with the four shortlisted photographers revealed as Peter Zelewski, Anoush Abrar, Ivor Prickett and Genesis client David Stewart, selected from a total of 4,929 submissions from 2,201 photographers in 70 countries.

The photographic prizes – including a first place prize of £12,000 – will be announced on November 10. Read more…


Genesis Supports Diana Markosian to Raise Funds for Survivors of the Armenian Genocide

Genesis are thrilled to partner with Diana Markosian and support her efforts to raise $30,000 to assist three survivors of the Armenian genocide by producing limited-edition Giclée Fine Art prints from her touching series ‘1915’, which will be sold with all proceeds from sales going directly to the cause. ‘I’m Not Done/2’ at Yinka Shonibare Guest Projects

Following on from the success of ‘I’m not done/1’ – which took place at Islington Arts Factory, London in October 2014 and included 11 emerging artists – ‘I’m not done/2’ is the second exhibition from ‘I’m not done’ projects and is taking place at Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Projects space until the end of September 2015.

The exhibition will evolve as a work in progress itself, starting with work from project curators Cherelle Sappleton (including Direct to Media UV Prints on shaped MDF) and Kathrin Bonnar, alongside invited artists Matthew Edwards and Patricia Pisanelli. Read more…
