We’re excited for this year’s Paris Photo, which opens on this week, as the city turns its focus to photography with a selection of the very best international, historical and contemporary work showing for the 19th edition of the fair.

Here are just a few of our highlights and recommendations of shows to catch for those visiting, by clients of Genesis Imaging:

Mulholland Polariods from LA: Cyrus Mahboubian

Genesis client Cyrus Mahboubian showcases tranquil images, taken in a city that’s always speeding by in his second solo show at Galerie Nivet-Carzon. The photographs, a series of original polaroids, showcase the work he is most known for; candid, striking shots and naturalistic, evocative imagery that doesn’t rely on digital manipulation or retouching, and for his continued use of analogue film in an age of digital technology.

11 – 15 November

Galerie Nivet-Carzon

2 rue Geoffroy l’Angevin,

75004 Paris.
