The Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize awards £9,000 of prizes & exhibitions to artists that show significant potential, interesting ideas, a relevant message and skillful execution. Ashurst’s aim in sponsoring the Emerging Artist Prize and Emerging Artist Programme is to find, build and support the careers of talented international emerging artists and get their art seen by a wider audience. For the 2019 edition of the prize, 2 new awards have been launched  – The Photography Award & The New Media Award. Genesis are delighted to be supporting the new Photography Award for the competition.

It’s the largest international competition of its kind and showcases the best space photography from a global community of astrophotographers. The 2018 exhibition celebrates 10 years of awe-inspiring images shot by astrophotographers worldwide.
