Positive View visitors have returned to Genesis to learn about the production of photographic prints. Our very own Creative Director, Mark Foxwell shared knowledge on this topic and gave a tour of our facilities. The aim of The Positive View Foundation is to bring a focus to disadvantaged youngsters through an introduction to photography and film that allows them to move out of the vicious circle of violence, drugs and gang related estate life.
Fogeys is a collection of images by the internationally acclaimed photographer David Stewart, celebrating growing old disgracefully. Comprising upbeat, positive photographs of elderly people in a series of unpredictable situations, Fogeys includes amusing shots of old men dangling their feet inside freshly dug graves and flying down hills on homemade go-karts.
Photo London 2019 drew to a close a couple of weeks ago and now the dust has settled a little we wanted to take a moment to share some of our highlights from the projects we got to work on across the fair!
Genesis are once again delighted to be the Print and Finishing Partner of the highly regarded Photo London fair, due to take place at Somerset House in London this Spring, and will be supporting the unique event with our extensive exhibition production services.The fifth edition of Photo London takes place between 16th – 19th May, 2019. Featuring 100+ of the world’s leading galleries this edition builds on a highly successful fourth edition that saw Photo London establish its position as one of the world’s leading art fairs.
We are once again delighted to support the Rhonda Wilson Award, announced as a new initiative in 2017, in honor of Rhonda Wilson MBE (1953-2014). This award will be presented at The FRESH Annual Summer Show, an exhibition produced and presented by Klompching Gallery, now in its 8th year.
This year we partnered with Fujifilm to support the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize in launching their very first photography award.
