Genesis Supports New International Photography Prize: PhotoX

Genesis are proud to support PhotoX; the new international photography prize open to all genres.

We are proud to support PhotoX; the new international photography prize produced by ArtGeminiPrize in collaboration with Green Rooms Hotel – London’s first arts-led hotel. PhotoX aims to discover and showcase international contemporary photography by artists worldwide.

The prize offers a cash fund of £2000, plus photographic prizes – including from Genesis Imaging – and two curated art exhibitions in London. Read more…


Henry Iddon ‘Instanto Outdoors’ at Keswick Museum

An eagerly anticipated collection of images by photographer Henry Iddon, using a unique historic camera, is open at the Keswick Museum and Art Gallery, Cumbria, until 12 May 2017.

Henry’s work is an homage to the work of George and Ashley Abraham, brothers who grew up in Keswick in the Lake District in the late 1800s. The Abraham brothers were passionate early rock-climbers and were the first to take cameras up into the hills of the Lake District to capture landscapes and action shots of their climbing. The Den at 100 Wardour St hosts its first exhibition, “Emotion in Motion”featuring a series of photographic portraits by where abstract light motion and human emotion meet on a backdrop of modern urban city life, produced as limited-edition Direct to Media prints on Brushed Dibond. The portraits, created by fashion photographer Erica Bergsmeds, reflect her own views surrounding the social media generation and their influence on today’s society.
