The winner of the 2015 Firecracker Grant – that we are proud to support as a sponsor – has been announced as Lua Ribeira, who was awarded the grant for her striking series Noises in the Blood’; a documentation of dancehall culture.

The series explores the celebration of a ritual, embracing consciously the exotic stereotype towards a different culture looking at the immediate differences between photographer and the subject, opening a dialogue about the English Jamaican women and their manners within a shared context. Shot at Dawn is a series by British photographer Chloe Dewe Mathews that focuses on the sites at which soldiers from the British, French and Belgian armies were executed for cowardice and desertion during the First World War.

We worked on Lambda C-type prints and Bespoke Frames for the series, which premiered at Tate Modern in London and Stills: Scotland’s Centre for Photography in Edinburgh in November 2014 and will be shown at The IMMA until 7 February. Following this, the exhibition will travel to Ivorypress in Madrid in 2016.
