Entries are now open for the Travel Photographer of the Year 2017 awards. Amateur, semi-pro and professional photographers of all ages and from all countries are invited to submit their work. The winning photographers will see their work displayed at TPOTY exhibitions in the UK and overseas in 2018, including at the University of Greenwich in London’s magnificent Maritime Greenwich UNESCO World Heritage Site. Genesis are proud to be  a long-term sponsor of the TPOTY awards.

Enter the Travel Photographer of the Year 2017 Awards

This year TPOTY competition features three portfolio categories, Celebration of Humanity, Earth & Climate and Tales of Adventure.

Entrants submitting two or more portfolios will also automatically be eligible for the title of Travel Photographer of the Year 2017. The winner of the Best Single Image award in each portfolio category receives a Giclée Fine Art exhibition print from Genesis Imaging.

Young Travel Photographer of the Year 2017 has two age groups – 14 years and under and 15-18 years – and the overall young winner will be chosen from the highest-placed entrants in each group. This year’s theme is My Camera, My Travels, and the Young TPOTY winner receives £500, Photo Iconic photography tuition and a Plastic Sandwich leather portfolio case. Each age group winner receives £250 plus Photo Iconic photography tuition.
