‘LIFE’ is an intimate photography exhibition by Zoë Law who spent a year inviting people living with cancer to her studio to take part in photoshoots with their family and friends. All of those who took part have been supported by Maggie’s Centre across the UK through their different cancer experiences.
The exhibition debuted at Christie’s London in 2017, to celebrate Maggie’s 21st birthday. The LIFE exhibition is now on tour to raise awareness of the support needed for people with cancer and their friends and family, as well as to show the importance of Maggie’s, through a moving and enlightening collection of images.
April 2019 marks Maggie’s Manchester’s third birthday so the next stop on the tour is The Lowry. From 9 May to 9 June 2019, all 21 photographs, alongside a pop-up mini-Maggie’s centre, will be on display at world-class venue The Lowry to raise awareness of Maggie’s and the wide range of support they offer.
Limited edition Life books with all 21 photographs are available to buy online, with all proceeds going to Maggie’s.
‘LIFE’ at The Lowry is curated by Ab Rogers Design (the architect of Maggie’s at the Royal Marsden in Sutton). Genesis are proud to support the LIFE exhibition with Giclee Fine Art Printing.
