Aware of the fragile state of student’s bank accounts and the need to foster new creative talent, Genesis Imaging is proud to offer all students 20% discount across all of our professional photographic services.
Most importantly, we invest time – we know from years of working with students that while a discount helps, sometimes you also need a bit of advice. At Genesis, we’re happy for you to talk your projects through with the people who will be working on them – from our creative retouchers to our framers, and all of the team in-between.
Just some of the many universities we work with…
Education is important. This is why we regularly work with universities to offer portfolio reviews, lectures, workshops and tours, alongside professional assistance to students undertaking final projects and degree shows.
Lectures, Portfolio Reviews, Tours and Placements
We regularly work with schools, colleges and universities to deliver lectures, portfolio reviews, workshops and tours of our premises in Fulham. We can accommodate group tours for up to 20 people – please contact us for more information and to arrange your visit.
We also offer work experience and apprenticeship placements for students across London and beyond – please contact us for more information if you’d like to be involved and learn more about our creative, professional operation here at Genesis.
Student Photographic Bursary Awards
Genesis is proud to support Nottingham Trent university final year students by offering three bursary awards; two of £500 to assist in the production of students degree show work and one to assist with an exhibition one year after graduation. This support is something that we have offered for the past five years as part of our commitment to the next generation of creative professionals.
We also support Postgraduate students with our Genesis Postgraduate Award. This is comprised of full production of one individual’s degree show using our range of services (up to the value of £2000). Alongside 12 months mentoring and support, promotion via our newsletter and social media channels and invites to industry events and exhibitions.
Just because you’ve graduated doesn’t mean that you suddenly don’t need support. Our graduate discount provides a continued 20% discount across all of our professional photographic services for a year after you graduate, with 10% discount for the year that follows. This is valid for undergraduate and postgraduate courses undertaken on a full or part-time basis. And it’s not just for photography degrees! We work with creative practitioners who have done a wide range of courses, so we believe that our student and graduate discount should support this diversity too.
In addition to this discount, our commitment to the next generation of creative practitioners includes time because our experience has shown us that sometimes you also need a bit of advice. At Genesis, we’re happy for you to talk your projects through with the people who will be working on them – from our creative retouchers to our framers, and all of the team in-between.
