Every year, the Royal Observatory in Greenwich hold the ‘Insight Investment Astronomy Photographer of the Year’ competition. It’s the largest international competition of its kind and showcases the best space photography from a global community of astrophotographers.

The 2018 exhibition celebrates 10 years of awe-inspiring images shot by astrophotographers worldwide.

This years judging panel welcomed: Sarah Pickering (British visual artist), Jon Culshaw (renowned comedian and keen amateur astronomer), Chris Bramley (Editor of BBC Sky at Night Magazine) and a host of experts in the worlds of art and astronomy.

The 31 winning images are on display alongside a selection of 69 of the best photographs from previous years.

To celebrate the competition’s 10th year, a new gallery is opening at the National Maritime Museum to display these stunning images.

Genesis are proud to have supported this exhibition with Duratran prints.
