The winners for this year’s awards were selected from a shortlist of 30 artists that were chosen out of a record number of entries this year, which exceeded 2,000 international artists with almost 4,700 artworks. We were thrilled once again to support the Photography award, with a £1500 production award and mentorship for the winner.

All winners of the Ashurst Emerging Artists Prize will have solo shows at Ashurst’s London headquarters and Rich Mix London from the 25th of October until the 7th of January 2022.

In addition to the main Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize awards detailed above, the judges also selected 4 artists to be awarded Highly Commended mentions, as it was felt that their artworks further highlighted the talent, variety of mediums, and ideas in contemporary art practice. They will each receive solo exhibitions at Ashurst’s London exhibition space from the 10th of January until the 25th of February 2022.
