A huge congratulations from all at Genesis to our client and friend David Stewart who, earlier this month was awarded first place in the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize competition, now on show at The National Portrait Gallery until 21 February 2016.

David’s image Five Girls 2014′ was printed by us as a Lambda C-type print, is his 16th photograph accepted for the competition, and mirrors an image taken of his daughter and her friends seven years ago when they were taking their GCSE’s. Read more…

Susan Derges exhibition ‘Under The Moon’ showcases the continuation of her interest in shorelines and inter-tidal zones – rich in both the marine life inhabiting them and the metaphors they offer up for exploration, particularly in the craggy bays of the North Devon coast, where many of these images were sourced.

We recently worked on Classic Gallery Frames in stained oak for the eagerly anticipated P. H Emerson exhibition at Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery.

With images sourced from the Victoria and Albert Museum and Nottingham Castle’s own collections, the exhibition explores the artist’s modes of presenting his photographs to the public – including work by Emerson published as photogravures, bound pictorial books and stand-alone large scale prints. The Prix Pictet 6th Cycle Winner Announced and Exhibition at The Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris

Earlier this month, Valérie Belin was announced by Honorary President Kofi Anan as the winner of the sixth edition of the prestigious Prix Pictet, out of a shortlist of 12 artists whose work falls under the sixth cycle theme of ‘Disorder’. The full exhibition of works, including Valérie Belin’s award-winning series, is now on show at The Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.

We worked on a multi-panel Perspex Face Mount and Lambda C-type prints for the exhibition, which is currently on until 13th December. Read more…
