We are proud to support PhotoX; the new international photography prize produced by ArtGeminiPrize in collaboration with Green Rooms Hotel – London’s first arts-led hotel. PhotoX aims to discover and showcase international contemporary photography by artists worldwide. The competition is open to all genres and styles of photography including Architecture, Nature, Wildlife, People, Sport, Portrait, Travel, Street & Staged, Documentary & Photojournalism, B & W, Monochrome and Colour.
Building on the success of the ArtGemini Prize (which is now in its fourth year), this exciting new prize for established and emerging photographers offers a cash fund of £2000, plus photographic prizes – including from Genesis Imaging – and two curated art exhibitions in London.
“This is a substantial new opportunity for photographers wanting exhibition opportunity, financial support for their projects and to have their work seen by industry leaders,” said Jimmy Lek, Founder of PhotoX. “We launched PhotoX as a dedicated photography prize as a result of the increase of photography entries we received on our main ArtGemini Prize. We hope to be able to support more photographers this way.”
