Genesis Imaging are once again delighted to support the UK Picture Editors’ Guild annual awards as a sponsor of the Regional Photographer of the Year category.

The UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards recognise outstanding photography from the world of news, royalty, sport, business, fashion and entertainment.

For 2017, The UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards were joined by industry giant, Fujifilm to recognise young talent with the Fujifilm Student Photographer of the Year Award.

The awards were presented by Evening Standard Editor, George Osborne at the Honourable Artillery Company Headquarters on 12th March 2018. The winners received prizes from sponsors such as Bloomberg, British Airways, Fixation and Fujifilm at the annual Awards event.

Paul Jarrett, Secretary of the Wire Photo Association and Chair of the judges commented that “2017 produced some of the most diverse and truly extraordinary images’’ .
