Genesis Imaging are once again delighted to support the UK Picture Editors’ Guild annual awards as a sponsor of the Regional Photographer of the Year category.

The 2018 search to find Britain’s most talented photographers and video-journalists has begun with the return of the annual UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards.

The UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards recognise outstanding photography from the world of news, royalty, sport, business, fashion and entertainment. Winners receive prizes from sponsors such as Bloomberg, Getty Images and Fixation at the annual Awards event, which took place in London at the Honourable Artillery Company Headquarters, March 25th 2019.

Hundreds of photographers submitted thousands of pictures that were judged by ten experienced judges. The number of pictures submitted this year was in excess of four thousand images.
The previous record was 2,700 this year the total number entered was 4,300.
