Artist George Irvine presents his exhibition Observations – a diverse showcase of photographs, prints and paintings. The work varies from figurative art to landscapes while exploring abstraction.
Irvine’s new work dips in and out of abstraction, using the forces of nature as a continuous source and catalyst for all works.
George speaks on his work: I enjoy looking at the everyday, the overlooked and trying to squeeze out the extraordinary and perhaps some meaning now and again! I continue to believe in colour as a powerful tool to cajole one into a variety of reactions both emotional and psychological. Most of my work is made with the idea that it can be lived with rather than about art itself that is often reserved for either the museum or the warehouse storage’.
