Genesis Imaging are once again delighted to support the UK Picture Editors' Guild annual awards as a sponsor of the Regional Photographer of the Year category. The UK Picture Editors' Guild Awards recognise outstanding photography from the world of news, royalty, sport, business, fashion and entertainment. Winners receive prizes from sponsors such as Bloomberg, Getty Images and Fixation at the annual Awards event, which will take place in London at the Honourable Artillery Company Headquarters, March 25th 2019.

The Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize awards £9,000 of prizes & exhibitions to artists that show significant potential, interesting ideas, a relevant message and skillful execution. Ashurst's aim in sponsoring the Emerging Artist Prize and Emerging Artist Programme is to find, build and support the careers of talented international emerging artists and get their art seen by a wider audience. For the 2019 edition of the prize, 2 new awards have been launched  - The Photography Award & The New Media Award. Genesis are delighted to be supporting the new Photography Award for the competition.

Callum Beaney presents his first solo show 'The Space In Between.' Callum graduated from Nottingham Trent University's BA Photography programme in 2017 where his project 'The Space In Between' was awarded the Genesis Imaging & Lakeside Arts Bursary Award. This is comprised of £1000 of production services towards an exhibition of work one year after graduation. Made primarily in the forests and tracks surrounding his Suffolk home, 'The Space In Between' concerns the interconnectedness and transience of things, and the experience of time and space within them.
