Genesis Postgraduate Bursary Announced
The Genesis Postgraduate Award returned in 2019 to offer support to individuals continuing to postgraduate level. In a change to the inaugural award which required university lecturers to submit students for entry, this years award was open to all universities in England and for students to self-submit for our production grant, worth £2,000, towards their final show.
Ignacio Barrios was announced as winner of this year’s award with Macarena Costan and Carlos Saavedra highly commended by our judges. Read more.
Genesis support Travel Photographer of the Year Exhibition
Travel Photographer of the Year are back at London Bridge City showcasing the 2018 winning images. Following on from the huge success of last years debut exhibition at the venue, all images will again be on show outdoors, against the stunning backdrop of City Hall, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
The free exhibition will be open air in the public, riverside, space and viewable all day, with images printed using our weatherproof Direct to Media UV printing service.

UK Picture Editors Guild Awards 2018 Winners Announced
Genesis Imaging were again delighted to support the UK Picture Editors’ Guild annual awards as a sponsor of the Regional Photographer of the Year category at the Hounourable Artillery Company Headquarters on March 25th 2019.
Hundreds of photographers submitted thousands of pictures that were judged by ten experienced judges. We would like to congratulate Jane Barlow as the 2018 winner of the Genesis Regional Photographer of the Year.

This is your last chance to see Format Festival, which we have once again been proud to support with a bursary for the Open Call Awards in partnership with Fujifilm.
This years theme for the festival is FOREVER//NOW. Featuring contemporary and archival photography, the festival will explore our attachment to the idea of FOREVER, through photography they seek to represent our ever-changing worlds and histories.
FORMAT Festival runs until 15th April. Don’t miss it!
