Over the years, London Art Fair has given access to exceptional modern and contemporary art, as well as expert insight into the changing market. Presenting leading British and international galleries alongside curated spaces Art Projects and Photo50, the Fair invites collectors and visitors to discover works by renowned artists from the 20th Century to today.
Genesis are once again delighted to support the fair, now celebrating its 30th year, as a sponsor of the curated photography exhibition, Photo50.
This years Photo50 curator is the Hemera Collective; a curatorial and collaboration led group specialising in photography and lens-based media, producing exhibitions and participatory programmes that draw from multiple disciplines with the aim to encourage new perspectives and facilitate debate.
Presenting ‘Resolution is not the point.’, The exhibition will explore the photographic image as a focal point for collaboration and discussion across a number of fields including histories, science, technology and contemporary art and the exhibition will be produced using a selection of our extensive Exhibition Production Services.
About Photo50:
Photo50 is London Art Fair’s annual exhibition of contemporary photography, providing a critical forum for examining some of the most distinctive elements of current photographic practice. Guest curated every year, it highlights a timely theme in current photography and adds a space and context to the photography presented by galleries at the Fair. For the very first time, Photo 50 will be curated by a collective specialising in photography and lens-based media. Hemera Collective have been announced as the as curators of Photo50 at London Art Fair 2018.
