FORMAT International Photography Festival was established in 2004 and is the UK’s leading international contemporary festival of photography and related media. It organises a year round programme of international commissions, open calls, residencies, conferences and collaborations in the UK and internationally and welcomes over 100,000 visitors from all over the world to its biennale.
Genesis is proud to have worked with FORMAT for many years, supporting FORMAT Festival with a bursary of £1000 towards our services as well as FORMAT’s Portfolio Reviews, awarding £100 and a 1:1 mentoring session with our Creative Director, Mark Foxwell.
Genesis Imaging are once again delighted to support The FORMAT International Photography Festival 2017, the UK’s leading contemporary festival of Photography. In addition to this support we partnered with Fujifilm on the Genesis and Fujifilm Production Award – an award of £1000 worth of framing and printing (on Fujifilm Crystal Archive paper) which will be awarded to one photographer selected from the artists chosen to participate in this year’s festival.
Genesis are delighted to announce The Genesis Imaging & Fujifilm Production Award. The recipient of the Genesis Imaging and Fujifilm Award goes to Matthew Arnold for his project ‘Topography Is Fate – North African Battlefields of World War II’. As the winner of the award, Matthew will receive £1000 worth of our services including Bespoke Framing and Professional Photographic Printing (on Fujifilm Crystal Archive paper).

We are delighted to once again be supporting The FORMAT International Photography Festival 2017 and a bursary of £500 of our professional photographic and fine art services to aid one photographer, chosen from the portfolio walk, which takes place after the internationally renowned FORMAT Portfolio Reviews on Saturday 25 March 2015.

FORMAT19 is delighted to announce the festival theme FOREVER//NOW and welcomes diverse and imaginative proposals from international photographers, curators, artists and collectives in response to this exciting dual concept.
